I had such a great time providing live illustrations at a beautiful wedding shower at The Mansion at West Sayville! Intimate events like this one are some of my absolute favorites, and this one in particular was right up my alley. From decor to food, everything about this wedding shower was perfectly curated. The bride had a custom jean jacket, and the guests all wore pinks and oranges to match her color palette. Everything about it felt intentional, artistic, and experience-driven. I was so happy to give guests live illustrations to remember this event!

Live Illustration for Intimate Events

Live illustrations are the perfect addition for intimate, pre-wedding events like wedding showers. I can only draw a certain number of people per hour, so smaller events mean that most (if not all!) of your guests receive an illustration. At larger events, I often take photos of your guests and send you the illustrations later to ensure that everyone gets one, even if they don’t receive it at the moment.

Having a live sketch artist at your wedding shower also gives your guests something exciting and social to do. Many people like getting sketched in groups, especially with the bride! These showers are one of the best times for guests to interact with you, since you’ll be busy on your actual wedding day. Live illustrations make incredible favors, and you can include illustrations from your wedding shower as decor during your wedding weekend!

Other Ways to Include Custom Art in Your Wedding Shower

If you’re worried that I’m already booked for your event date, don’t worry! There are so many ways to include custom illustrations during your shower that don’t require me to be there in person. Your guests will know exactly who the card is from and treasure it as a memento of your special day. You can customize your portrait with your skin tone, hair color, hair style, and bouquet color.
